This is the USKA internal work platform serving our official USKA delegates to this important IARU R1 process “Shaping the Future of Amateur Radio” (STF).
Our ongoing work is based on the results of the IARU R1 October 2021 workshop.
USKA actively participates in the eight “Strategic Objectives” Teams operated under the auspicies of IARU R1.
This USKA internal work platform is a CUG (Closed User Group).
Every member may participate in this process by joining the public USKA HamGroup “USKA Task Force IARU Shaping the Future” on hamgroups.ch/shapingthefuture .

Die öffentliche Diskussion mit unseren USKA-Mitgliedern findet somit NICHT hier, sondern in der HamGroup "Task Force IARU Shaping the Future" statt. Bitte macht dort mit!
IARU Initiative “Shaping the Future” (STF)
In October 2021 the Region 1 Workshop for the Future of Amateur Radio was organized online. About 50 countries and 100 participants joined the 5 days workshop and the 7 sessions.
After taking the time to analyze the current situation, a process of reflection was carried out to agree on the medium-term objectives and on the actions to be taken to make this ambition a reality.
We will shape our future together, to move amateur radio in the direction we have chosen.
- The analysis of the current situation has mostly been done.
- We face a big challenge to create a relevant product again, as Amateur Radio was in the last century.
- No “more of the same” !
- Time is running out. Speed to market counts more than perfection.
- Are we “beyond repair” ? We think not.
